News Cashback Website Last Update 3/10 5:28 pm |
Point, click, buy and get cash back? From pharmacies
to flowers, car rentals to clothing, popcorn to pet stuff. If
you are shopping online now there is a way to put some of that
cash back in your in your pocket where it belongs. Founder of
Hoopla Doopla Incorporated, Frank DeBlasi knows how to save people
money, "this is a time where people are always looking for
you know to make extra money."
Getting paid to shop may sound too good to be true but giving you cash back for
shopping is the whole idea behind the web site hoopladoopla.com, explains DeBlasi, "they
can go on the site shop any of their top favorite companies that they normally
shop at on a daily basis. we feature the latest discount on all these companies,
plus we offer cash back in the addition of their discounts that they are already
getting."
You can see savings, like one percent cash back at Apple, or 5.6 percent cash
back at Target, 8 percent cash back at places like drugstore.com and 1-800 flowers.
There is hundreds of cash back deals at lots of places you may already shop and
the hoopla doopla is still growing, "we should have easily five-hundred
companies in the next month," explains Deblasi
So getting money back sounds great, but how does it work? Frank Deblasi and Tom
Cangley are co-founders of the sight and they say it is easier than you think
to make the cash flow back to you, "that's what we are kind of letting out
of the bag. so we said you know what we are getting the commission and now is
the time and effort to give back," says Cangley.
Like most websites you click around on, Hoopla Doopla gets a referral commission
when you click from their site to another site to shop. The difference here is
you actually see some of the cash for the referral come back to you, "we
split that commission with our users we give it to them in the form of cash back," Deblasi
explains.
For instance if you went to the Hoopla Doopla site and clicked through the target
to do some shopping, spend two hundred bucks you would get over eleven bucks
cash back. The cool thing is there is no membership fees and you don't have to
hand over any credit card info at their sight. The Hoopla Doopla guys say it
could take a couple of weeks for the cash back to arrive, it comes by PayPal
or good old-fashioned check.

Advisor Magazine What's All The Hoopla About? Written by Dorothy Hinchcliff March 09, 2009 |
I like to save money, especially during these tough times. I like to shop online, where I buy books, send flowers and purchase vitamins. I also frequently use the Internet to book flights, hotels and car rentals because I can easily comparison shop and save money.
I have recently come across one of the best online money-saving sites: http://www.hoopladoopla.com/.
Here's the premise of the site: YOU GET PAID TO SHOP! You earn cash back on any purchases you make at many other sites, as long as you access that site through hoopladoopla.com. There is no membership fee and you don't have to give your credit card number. You will get a quarterly rebate check for every purchase you make or you can have it deposited into your existing PayPal account.
Simply go to hoopladoopla.com, log on, and then use the site as the portal to reach other shopping sites. They have partnered with dozens of popular Web sites that include categories such as travel, florists, computers and pet supplies.
For example, one site I always purchase from is Drugstore.com. By accessing this site through hoopladoopla.com, I will earn a rebate check of 8% of what I spend. In addition, Drugstore.com offers its own 2% rebate for all purchases. If I pay with one of my cash back credit cards, I get another 3% rebate from the credit card company. The result? I just saved 13% of the original purchase price.
Some of the other merchants participating in Hoopla Doopla include Proflowers (6.4%); Hotels.com and Borders (4%); Walmart, Brooks Brothers and Officemax (3.2%); Buy.com, Expedia and Clubmac (2.4%); and Apple (1%). Others participating include many major hotel chains (Sheraton and Marriott), airlines (JetBlue), and car rentals (Enterprise, Avis and Budget).
Signing up is quick and easy. It takes minutes to start shopping. BTW, if you took my advice and bought an Entertainment book, make sure you use the coupons when you shop online for additional savings. You might want to log on to hoopladoopla.com, send your client, employees, relatives or friends flowers from Proflowers.com, use one of their coupons in the Entertainment book, and then wait for your 6.4% rebate to come back.
Happy ever after in the market place, Hoopla-dee, Hoopla-da, La-la, how our life goes on…

| Kiplinger.com Revenue Sharing for Shoppers by Cindy Schwalb March 12, 2009 |
Many secondary retail sites, from PriceGrabber.com to DealTaker.com, earn money for sending traffic and sales to respective retailers. And while that revenue model isn't a secret, most Web sites don't go around advertising it.
That is, until Web marketers Frank DeBlasi and Tom Cangley teamed up to turn shoppers into revenue-sharing partners for the launch of their new Web site.
Hoopla Doopla promises users discounts and more than half of the commission the site makes on your purchases. To qualify for the cash-back deal, users must sign up for a free account and use Hoopla Doopla as the entry to a retailer's site.
The terms offered from retailers vary, but these details are disclosed and range from nearly 10% cash back for shopping at 1-800-Pet-Meds to a piddly 1% cash back for shopping at the Apple Store.
Is this for real? Yes. Member-shoppers are paid their share every quarter, and the money is considered earnings under the tax law. You can find more details on the site's FAQs page.
It's a competitive field, Kiplinger's Cameron Huddleston may indeed be adding this one to her list of 20 Top Sites to Find a Bargain. We'll have to see.
